The food was excellent, and the service was friendly, though quite slow. If you're looking for an upscale experience, this might not be the right spot for you. However, if that doesn't deter you, definitely pay a visit if you're traveling between Salida and Cañon City. My huevos rancheros were delicious and flavorful, but I wished they were a bit spicier. However, my son's dish was the highlight of the meal—absolutely amazing!

These nice ladies know what they do. amazing eating, great service and more than fair prices. I went to starvation with a smile on my face full. the durango burger was to die and the blueberry cake was delicious. will definitely get an early piece!

We came to see the famous Cheryl that a review mentioned. Instead her lovely Granddaughter was our server. We were treated like royalty and our breakfast was fit for a king. This cute retro cafe is a slice from my childhood on small cafes across the country. And entering the bathroom I caught a hint of lavender which reminded me of countrysides in Poland in early spring.
