Best steak, prime rib, onion rings and shrimp we’ve had in years!

5 Stars out of 5! We went out for a girls dinner adventure. Unkies did not disappoint! We went early Thursday 4:30p. They started filling up. They say it can get packed. Being gals we shared dinners ordered the Apps The hand breaded Mixture Platter- 5 Perfectly breaded and seasoned deep fried veggies and cheese. Served with house Ranch dressing. Entrees twin 5oz lobster tails- 5 perfectly cooked tails which is not always easy for smaller tails. Jumbo grilled shrimp- 5 perfectly cooked shrimp good shrimp Sides we had were Cheesy hash browns 5 browned nicely with crispy edges and good ole melted American cheese House salad was a typical house salad nothing special, but nice crisp greens Pinot Grigio house wine was chilled and good for the Wish had room for dessert but we didn’t Ladies Restroom- 100 for their lovely clean powder room Restaurant was older but with small town Iowa character Very clean. Server was busy but did a good job with us. Gathered a little local history from the gal tending bar Looking forward to going again with our Hubby’s and going on a Friday or Saturday evening for the prime rib dinner And hopefully next time they will have the Colossal king Crab legs!! Definitely recommend this place for a great meal very reasonable prices! FYI no credit cards accepted. Checks or cash. ATM is in the restaurant Great job Unkies!

We drove 80 miles to check this place out. you will not be disappointed prime rib was excellent. our waitress nichole was a hoot, service was great we will be back
