Taste Of Hummelstown

One of the best BBQ places around Hershey (and I've lived in the south). A bit on the pricier side for my liking but doable. Mac and cheese is ok could use more seasoning for me. People are all nice and the spot is rather small, tucked between a few buildings

This BBQ place is amazing. The portions are huge and the food is incredible. It tastes like the BBQ we had in Nashville. The atmosphere is super cute. You walk in, order at the counter, and sit either at the few tables inside or the picnic tables outside! We chose outside and our food was brought to us pretty quickly! We took the remainder of our food home and it was just as good the next day. They have 4 different bbq sauces and they are ALL so good. Definitely give this place a try.

Great food and easy to order, pick up or even dine on the site. Friendly and fast service. Outdoor dining is fun

I had seen this place a long time ago on Pennlive. It had a favorable write up. I didn't realize it was so easy to get to. The employee who took care of me provided great service. There weee tables chairs so that I could dine inside. However the chairs are kind of short for the size of the tables. The ribs were not very tender. I realize they need to smoke them at the beginning of the day, but they kind of tasted like they were sitting around all day. The house honey BBQ sauce was very good. The ribs weee not really served hot, nor was the Mac cheese. The baked beans were very hot tasted very good. I was disappointed with the ribs, other than the excellent sauce. I just got the impression that the dntire meal was reheated in a microwave, except possibly the beans. I would be willing to try it again, but probably would not get the ribs. There is a restroom, but it is not handicapped accessible.

The brisket was good, average priced, loved the Mac and cheese, hated the smoked wings, in-fact no one in the family liked them, they got tossed, I don't like the ordering process, but no biggy, pick a good day to go because you have to wait outside for your food.
