My husband asked for a flavor in a cone and was told only plain vanilla could be put in a cone. Not sure why. No one offered an explanation. I’m sure it has to do with the consistency once the flavors are stirred in. I had a stir in flavor though and it wasn’t any more runny than any other soft serve. I had the flavor of the month, Toffee Pecan. There was lots of ice cream and not much stirred in. Won’t be back.
The frozen custard is wonderful and there are a lot of custom flavors and choices to pick from. Sometimes it can be a bit of a challenge to find a parking spot because it gets rather busy on the nights and weekends. The staff is friendly and they keep the tables relatively clean (but during a rush they might not be able to wipe down the tables in between customers). Once you try this, you will come back for more!
It was good but lacked on toppings. Service was bland.
Ice cream was on my mind, so we decided to eat custard at Whit's. You can come in and get a pint, ice cream sandwich, or a drumstick made already to take home. I love how you can create your own masterpiece. Cheesecake was pacing back and forth in my head. So, I decided to go with strawberry and cheesecake. Dawkins, who was helping us recommend a lot on different options. He suggested my husband added carmel to his Twix ice cream. It's a nice place to enjoy a sweet treat.
Visited because of the good reviews but didn’t feel welcomed at all. The staff acted as if they didn’t want to serve me and my granddaughter. It was my first time visiting and I mentioned it to the staff but nobody cared to assist. How Rude! I just went with vanilla the kid cup with sprinkles for my granddaughter. Since it seemed as if I wasn’t welcomed I didn’t get myself anything. The only reason I got something for my granddaughter is because I promised to take her for custard.
