Chili's Grill Bar Idaho Falls

My group of four went to Chili's after a long hiatus due to previous poor service and food quality. We decided to give it another try. The only thing that was prepared correctly was the strawberry lemonades. Every other dish we ordered was made incorrectly. I had to wait 45 minutes longer than everyone else to receive my food because it had to be remade. The service was good, but the restaurant seemed to be understaffed. The manager tried to make it right, but the main issue was the lack of properly prepared food served in a timely manner. It was disappointing to see the decline in quality. I gave it 3 stars mainly because our server did her best, but overall it would have been a 1-star rating. Unfortunately, she had no control over the incorrect items that were served. If the food is made as requested and served timely, it could help improve the restaurant's reputation.

The food at this Chilli's location was on par with other branches, but my steak was a bit tougher than usual. However, the to-go service exceeded my expectations. The woman who brought out my food was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain that there was a delay in preparing my order, despite what the app had indicated. She was pleasant to chat with and showed genuine concern for ensuring that my food was fresh and that I was informed about the situation. Kudos to her for her politeness and excellent customer service.

The chips and salsa were really tasty. However, the service that evening was terrible. We requested water as soon as we sat down, but had to ask again 15 minutes later. After another 15 minutes passed with no water, we decided to leave. There were 5 of us dining on a warm summer night. Normally, this restaurant has good service.

This Chill?s is located near Idaho Falls River Walk. The menu is typical. The food was tasty. Service was quick and excellent but I was their first customer of the day at 11 am. Parking is ample.
