Had breakfast a couple of weeks ago, on bank holiday, and decided to order champagne. They went out of their way to provide the brand we requested, veuve, by sending out for it, as the last bottle had just sold. Food great, staff fabulous Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Well, I ordered a cup of tea, which was served but I was given sugar nor milk, I requested for them and the lady ignored totally. The food was only a standard. Kids' food are not served there. Not overly impressed. Service was polite and prompt so no issue there. But food was pretty mediocre. Service: Dine in

Had been recommended but was disappointed with the experience. Had a bit of a cafe feel to the restaurant but on the whole, atmosphere was ok. Ordered a couple of Ribeye steaks. £29 per steak which is fine if the meat is exceptional quality but it was distinctly average, slightly chewy and not enough fat through the middle of the steak for a ribeye. The chips however, were really really good! Bottle of red was very average. Sticky toffee pudding for dessert was underwhelming and dry. Service was below par and not friendly. For the price paid you would expect much more and then had the cheek to add on a 10% service charge. Overall, definitely not worth the expensive prices.
