Wine Down 109 - Independence

They don 't serve food but all kinds of drinks. It 's a very warm, welcoming, engaging, family-feeling spot in the community where kind, funny, open and warm people gather or hang out alone. It has a smaller pub-like or Cheers type atmosphere in Independence 's Englewood Arts District. It 's an adorable event space to rent and bring food or have it catered. It appears to seat 40 ish people. I was there for a special event that had a live band. Great music and awesome people.

Great place for a cocktail! Fun artwork EVERYWHERE! Will definitely be back.

This place sure is hopping on Third Fridays. Mary Ellen is great and will make you whatever kind of drink you want (limited menu on Third Fridays because it's so busy). Bring your own food.

A truly enjoyable spot to have a drink and visit with friend and it won't kill your wallet.
