Winking Lizard Tavern - Independence

We always have great food and great service at this Winking Lizard! Today we tried the White Bread Pizza and it's our new favorite! So delicious! Must try!

Overall a good bar, just a stroll from Progressive Field there was a wait after the baseball game, but the food made it worth it! The staff were friendly and vibing to the music, good choices by the way. We ordered some fried cheese wedges for an appetizer that was top tier bar food. Then came the honey garlic wings. Very fitting name as they tasted like a mix between garlic parm and honey BBQ. Although they did go a little light on the sauce and did not check if we needed a refill they were busy so I'll give them a pass. Affordable, delicious barfood, with sports near by what more can you ask for?

Rib Wednesday, dived before the ancestry and gave them a jump. they have bbq or spicy bbg sauce as choice. I chose the seasoned and the meat was dropped from the boney delicious. decor is great. service is friendly and fast. and of course best choice of beer.

Cheap! great nachos and beer selection! rum and koks was tasteful and the long icy the island was delicious! bartender was just perfect that we had such a good time! we have 2 beers, 2 cocktails and nachos and it was less than 35 dollars. I have a 1 lit of harvey’s in our hotel 1 block away and there were 20 mice

Everything was “fine”. The food was good. The bar was very clean. I went in for lunch today and despite being very few people at the bar the bartender seemed more interested in talking real estate and refilling half empty beers for some people he knew at the end of the bar. I didn’t get condiments when my food came out and he never came back to ask if I needed anything so I just went without. Maybe don’t sit at the bar and you won’t have this problem. Also this location has no boman’s burgers or sandwiches.. this was the main reason I went and super disappointing.
