This location suffers from severe understaffing. I recall the nightmares of waiting for chicken sandwiches for what felt like ages. While things have improved somewhat, the wait times are still far from competitive. I sincerely hope that someone in management will read this and take action to help restore Popeyes to its former glory.
Poor Popeyes. They seem to be facing the same staffing issues as many other fast food restaurants. I entered the dining room to place my order, but then an employee informed us that we all had to leave because they were closing the dining area due to a lack of staff. So, I moved to the Drive-Thru instead. I waited at the speaker for 15 minutes before I could place my order, and it took about 40 minutes to receive my simple meal. It's wild! This seems to be the new norm.
I enjoyed my meal from here. I usually love getting the fish sandwich: but they were sold out! Maybe next time. This time I got chicken tender with maische potatoes, delicious .. although I was given lemonade instead of water, a diabetic that is not too good for. But hopefully next time will be better
I went today and her service was terrible, I understand that it's understaffed, but when it comes to the point that you treat the costumers in the middle just in the vicinity. The meals they gave us might have 15 Pommes in giving us more sauce than food. Inside they had closed, so I didn't even take it back.
There's a lot I could say about my lunch time experience here but I'll stick to the highlights. To start off, when I came in the dining room the staff were cursing each other out. That didn't stop the entire time we were there although it did seem like they were at least goofing off and not actually mad. As a slightly positive note, we did get our food correctly and timely. Halfway through the meal, I went up to the counter to get some jam for my biscuit. There was a younger guy leaning against a counter staring at me. I waited for him to come up and help but he would not. We stared at each other for a minute until he took his phone out and placed his other hand about 3 inches inside the waist band of his pants. That was a little gross. A manager ended up helping me in the end. It seemed like some employees were genuinely working hard and doing their best. Others did not evenly slightly care. All said and done, I'd probably go back for a drive-through sandwich at some point.
