Had the best burger for ages from Butchers Kitchen. Had plenty of filling and the beef patty was delicious. Had to wait for burger, but the wait was well rewarded.
I was drawn to the smell of grilled food whilst shopping at the fruit shop opposite The Butcher's Kitchen. Upon closer look they were grilling the meats for the burgers. Double checked with trip advisor and seemed like something worth checking out. Be prepared to wait if you order the wagyu burger. They take a long time to cook it compared to the rest of the items on the menu. The burger wasn't as great as hyped up to be. I had the wagyu beef burger and wasn't anything to shout about though. However I must say that the burger is big and did require me to dissect it apart before eating it. Good for a quick bite.
The Butchers Kitchen is part of Cabassi and Co, Artisan Butchers, at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre. My wife and I both had a fillet steak burger ($18 each but this is top quality beef) with a side of chips. We agreed that the burger was the vest we have ever had. They were amazing for overall taste and the extremely tender and tasty steak. The chips were also exceptional. It is mostly take away but there are a few seats that are available inside or in the food court
This restaurant is the perfect spot to enjoy some authentic German sausage, all made in-house by the chef/owner.
