Jamaica Blue - INDOOROOPILLY

My boyfriend and I went there to have a coffee, as a result we had an excellent customer service experience and fabulous mocha. I totally recommend.

Dropped into Jamaica Blue at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre for a coffee and bite to eat. The service was excellent from the moment we walked through the door. Friendly and welcoming and very much recommended.

Small shop in a big shopping centre, Jamaica Blue Indooroopilly knows how to keep me returning with co-operative staff and good service. Not a long menu with basic desserts although helpings are generous (try BLT extras or a wrap) and divine coffee. There’s assorted seating (with faux window seats) and it’s a café chain with a loyalty card system but there’s something about this place which makes me happy.

My husband and I were out shopping and when we visit indro we generally go here for breakfast. I ordered the big breakfast, it basically looked like food had been thrown on the plate... along with the less then appetizing look of my food, everything was barely even warm... the only thing that was hot was my hash browns.The most annoying part was having to pay the 15% surcharge that day on food that was less then average. We also had to pay 80c for a little amount of tomato sauce? Who charges for tomato sauce???

Arrived mid morning on a Sunday morning and ordered a coffee and scones. The scones arrived rather promptly, however some 10 minutes had elapsed and no coffee. I enquired of my coffee's whereabouts. I was promptly told the restaurant had deliveries to nearby stores to attend to and my coffee would be arriving in approximately 10 more minutes. I figured 20 minutes wait for a coffee is an unreasonable ask. I cancelled my coffee order and on exiting the store complained of the lack of service to the owner/manager. His comment simply was " we have to complete deliveries first" and walked away. I will NOT return to Jamaica Blue at Indooroopilly again.
