Contribuisci feedbackWe thorougly enjoyed dinner at ilPasto on a Friday night. The service was excellent and there were many menu choices that we fancied. The Lasagne and creme brulee were particularly good. Highly recommended!
It is an intimate and convivial space, with a warm but crowded interior. We went there for the $15 pasta specials which were delectable. The pork beef ragu my partner ordered was robust but my calamari and mussel spaghetti was beautifully balanced. Our companions enjoyed the tiramasu and creme brulee for dessert. Meals were promptly delivered and well proportioned.
Fantastic meals and service. Good size serves, pasta cooked perfectly, not too saucy or just full of cream. Mushroom risotto was delicious. Entree calamari was a huge serving - shared between three of us. Was recommended to come here by friends. It did not disappoint. Will definitely be returning to try some of the other dishes and dessert!
Fantastic service and delicious food. I really like the Antipasto Della Casa. It's a sample of all the typical Italian antipasti and everything in the plate tasted homemade. The crumbed artichokes and calamari in particular, I could easily have a whole plate of them on their own. The Tagliatelle Con Funghi had a true mushroom flavour infused in the oil, not just a few mushrooms chucked in a bowl of pasta. I think the pasta itself was homemade too (but I am not sure). We were seated outside, which on a slightly cooler night would be wonderful as it's very peaceful outside. Popular place though, book in advance!!
We've been here a couple of times in the past but dinner last night was the best yet so thought it best time for a review. Seafood risotto and panna cotta were highlights but everything we ordered was of a high standard. Service friendly and love that they are BYO. We'll be back.
