Past experiences have been quite good, but this time poor. We had an early booking to be in and out to go to a show. After placing our order, which took over 30 minutes for one order to arrive , the others followed about 10 minutes later. One of the orders was missing a vital ingredient and was sent back. Normally I would expect the meals to arrive about the same time so we can eat as a family. The food can best be described as ordinary.
Booked a Friday night to celebrate a Birthday with friends. Staff could not have been more helpful, the food was delicious and plenty of it. Thank you for a wonderful night was much appreciated.
Saw it on TA and as it is local we tried it. Difficult to find with no signage visible from the road. It is in a shopfront opposite Chicken Treat. Interesting room. Exposed brick and industrial chic. Very urban Hong Kong. Maybe 50 covers with a central island bar and semi open kitchen. Rough tables but comfortable seats. Two ladies front of house. Friendly and helpful with ordering. Good service all night. Interesting Cantonese menu and good bar options. The food is really good. Good, fresh ingredients skilfully cooked. Big serves too. The seafood hot pot was full of good quality bits and a subtle stock base to the sauce. The food is better than anything outside Northbridge. Would punch above it’s weight in that company too. We ordered far too much and they took the leftovers back to the kitchen and boxed it up. That was service! The only competition is Fat Dragon in Mt Lawley. It is really that good. Discount the negative TA reviews. Do try it.
Visited on a Friday night with friends to celebrate a friends birthday. It is a lovely venue inside. The menu is what you would expect and to be honest I thought it was very reasonably priced $120 for 3 people including entree and three mains plus a bottle of sparkling). We ordered Japanese Sizzling Beef, Mongolian lamb and Honey chicken. All dishes were big. Food quality was very good. Where things were let down was the service. Although friendly it was SUPER slow. It felt like they were just very under staffed. If this area was better I would have given four stars.
