I received a total of 12 rib tips, along with a medium portion of baked beans and potato salad (which were more like small sizes in 6oz cups), and I also ordered cornbread (2 for $3). I paid nearly $50 for my meal. The sauce on the ribs was very tasty, but the portion size was disappointingly small. Typically, when you order rib tips, you expect a more substantial serving. I was not satisfied with the portion size and felt that The Wood Urbankitchen charges too much for their food. They are overrated in my opinion. This was my first and last time dining at this establishment. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly and my food was served quickly, which is why they are receiving 2 stars from me. However, I can't help but feel like I was overcharged with a smile.
My food was served with smile and fast. The hostess are very friendly. There was a nice crowd in the restaurant but not overly crowded. Thank goodness because we were famish. Enjoy the music while sitting on the patio. I thought it was so cool that eachof the hostess delivered your cocktail with a Cheer 's you! I thought that was so cool.
This place tastes good an the people are fine!!! Everything tasted delicious and nothing was Metallic from over barbecuing or just you know what I mean. You go to certain barbecue places example Chris and Pitt's, and that meat just tastes kind of metalor like tap water or something. I've experienced this several times over the years at different barbecue places. I will say thisplace Cooks their meat perfectly and maybe just really fresh meat that has no Frozen or freezer burn or any kind of implicationfrom not being used right away. Great people great food. Support Inglewood my family started there 1940s
I ordered delivery from this restaurant and was disappointed with my experience overall. I ordered 2 meats and 2 sides, which came out to over $33 including the tip (even with a discount code). Typically, a 2/2 combo at other BBQ spots is plenty for two people, but not here. I received 2 small ribs and 2 very dry links. Despite being covered in BBQ sauce, the dryness of the links was evident. On the bright side, the side dishes were good and a decent portion size. I might consider dining in next time to give them another chance. If the experience is better, I will update my review.
I ordered brisket, corn, BBQ beans and potato salad. The brisket was okay, nice and tender, while the corn and beans were just alright. However, I found the price to be a bit steep for the small portion of brisket I received. Two orders of brisket, corn, beans, potato salad, and coleslaw cost me $50. I don't feel that I received good value for my money. The prices may be upscale, but the quality of the food is lacking.
