Contribuisci feedbackOur kids (Bulldogs) kept peer pressuring us to try this place. I'm satisfied with Shipleys which is equidistant in the opposite direction so it took me a while to cave. I'm glad I did, and this is why... We drove out to Normangee to pickup our son after a sleep over. By chance, we drove by Iola Donuts on the way home, they were open and I was out of excuses to not try them. We walked in, bought donuts for the family and on our way out, the man behind the counter stopped us. He offered us a free apple fritter as we were leaving. I'm in the middle of reading Unreasonable Hospitality, so maybe it's just good timing. But maybe this place has something special. We've been to Iola Donuts two more times in the two weeks since that free fritter interaction. It's confirmed, there's something special about this place. Now stop reading this, go grab an apple fritter (and sausage kolache), see for yourself and I'll await your review here.
