Good tasting coffee?. Wayyyy to expensive for what you get. Paid $13 for two SMALL coffees and did not even get any latte art on top. It also took 20 minutes to get our drinks. I will only be going back for a very special occasion.

Met a friend here for conversation. This place has been here almost thirty years and the interior finishes still somewhat reflect a 90s charm. The vibe is lived in and familiar and it's abuzz with all sorts of people picking up a pick-me-up. Mylatte was great and I appreciate that the lid and cardboard wrap are kept optional to reduce waste. Sound levels were prettygood for such a bustling spot. I didn't have any problems hearing my friend.

We always enjoy stopping in and grabbing our fav caffeine options, Ultra Violet for me and American Gothic for my bf. Great customer service, they are always very helpful if I get a taste for something diffrent.

Good experience for coffee. I happened to get in between small rushes and was able to get my order quickly. I had a pour over and ordered an iced coffee to go for my wife. The pour over was excellent, smooth and satisfying. The inside of the shop wasclean with plenty of available seating. I would go here for coffee again.

Not only is Java House the home of best cup of coffee in Iowa City, but the managers and staff are incredible. We had a medical emergency while eating lunch there and the staff went above and beyond to help us. Thank you!!!
