Subway - Iowa Park

It's a pity this place has closed down; they had excellent, fresh bread and a friendly staff. I always looked forward to their sandwiches and chatting with the employees. The restaurant was very clean, well-maintained, and pleasantly quiet, allowing for a peaceful indulgence. Rest in peace, Subway of Iowa Park.

Normally a very good restaurant Franchise. This particular location definitely is NOT a good comparison to many other locations. (And yes I've eaten in Las Vegas Subway, Flagstaff, Arizona, Albuquerque NM. Not 1 of these previously mentioned locations gouge or inflate their prices like Iowa Park does. Prices here (Iowa Park compared to even 15-20 miles away are crazy. Franchisee doesn't honor advertised promotions. Does NOT have the $4.99 Footlong's that every other Subway I've ever eaten at honor promote. Even newest Brisket 12 is almost $3-4 more than any other Subway. Even without the $4.99 (Black Forest Ham, Veggie, Spicy Italian Meatball these sandwiches are almost $7 each. Prices are way over priced too. Surely it doesn't cost any more to ship to Iowa Park than it does to Wichita Falls, Burkburnett, Vernon Texas even Lawton OK. The advertised Hubert's Lemonade has pulp in every other restaurant I've dined at in last 2 months. Not Iowa Park. Theirs is from the fountain. I'll give props to employees. Quick, accurate, friendly. Also props to cleanliness too. Sadly only special they did have was the sliders. If not for that special I would not have dined here. Sadly I do NOT recommend this restaurant simply based on price alone.

I stopped by this Subway for a salad and a Footlong cold cut sandwich. It's the first Subway I've seen with a drive-thru! The salad allowed me to choose my favorite veggies, dressing, crackers, and croutons, and it was a great deal at just $5.49. The Footlong cold cut was only $4.99, which is an excellent value, weighing in at a substantial 18 ounces!

The restaurant is clean and offers quick service with delicious food! It's conveniently located for easy access to the highway. The staff is friendly and personable, and they were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions. Highly recommend!
