Pineapple Restaurant - Isleton

Very flavorful and filling Chinese food. Drove down from Elk Grove to taste this food and it was very good. We had the Cashew Chicken, Chicken Chow Mein, and the Honey Walnut Shrimp. The chow mein was okay but the entrees were the star of the show, which I guess, is truly what matters. The sauce on the cashew chicken was absolutely wonderful and the dish included a wonderful serving of vegetables. The honey walnut shrimp was a bit sweet, but prepared very well, and was presented in a unique way. Highly recommend both dishes. Will stop by again if I'm craving some Chinese food while driving on 160. Parking: Easy access with parking directly on Main Street

Look very nice place to eat from the outside. old little town so we stopped in and had dinner. the food was good the restaurant was clean. it was very small very very small limited parking. Omg, the best Asian food I've ever had. It was so delicious I ate it all. which is rare for me). The service was excellent too. Also for you vegans, there was a large list to choose from. Vegetarian options: Lots of VEGAN options! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20

Love coming to this old school Chinese Restaurant in the small town of Isleton. Thanks to traffic it was time for lunch. Not much going on in town except for a few places to eat so let's eat! I was a bit worried as I said the town was empty and that perhaps the food wouldn't be that good with so little traffic...wrong! We ordered 2 items, Tomato Beef Chow Mein and Mushu Tofu both were plentiful with good ingredients and tasted like they should! When I say old school it brought me back to 80's when I'd eat at places in the city (SF). As a bonus a nice couple shared their appetizer of Paper Wrapped Chicken which brought me back to my Grandma's version so that's saying something! People are so friendly in this town stop by and say hello.
