Big Red - Islington

Big Red on Holloway Road is a great example of a Rock Bar, with an area for a band to play, great music and a decent drinks selection with some good memorabilia. If you're a fan of rock music it's well worth coming here for a few drinks and I look forward to coming back and spending more time here.

Great food, great music, great drinks, fantastic atmosphere! Love this place. Staff are really friendy, and tge stage is great. Great place to enjoy a rock/metal band playing!

Free entry! Large stage , great acoustics . Good prices behind the bar. Small menu to from, but massive plate of nachos! Clean ladies loos! Great evening had by all!

Visited the Big Red to watch the monthly Retribution Alive gigs this month. Have to say that the bands were top drawer especially Sacrilege as headliners from the NWOBHM era ! Awesome band ! Free entry too so can't complain at that ! We had nachos and tacos for food which was all decent bar food and the drinks were reasonably priced a for London venue. Will certainly be back as the crowd and atmosphere was electric ! Watch out for a Sacrilege return too !!

Good music, pool tables, cold guinness and good location. Nice option of drinks. A bit out of central london but worth the visit especially if you are around camden town and want to see something else
