We've made off-menu requests and never been denied and Fernando always creates intriguing tweaks to make the food interesting. Even when we're not up for a big dinner, my wife and will regularly come to sit at the bar, have a few drinks and split a salad. (highly recommend some balsamic reduction drizzled on your caesar salad)
Delicious and generous portions. Lovely atmosphere, but not too fancy. Great service.
My current favorite place, food, staff; it's difficult to work my way through the menu when each item is so good! Just finished chicken breast laid over mashed potatoes, with light sauce of mushrooms and caramelized onion, with a side of fresh cooked green beans; this hit points I didn't know I needed! I really only came in for the beet salad, fresh greens, soft beet cubes, a little diced fresh red onion, a drizzle of dressing, which is what carries it all to a place I can't make at home (and I try). A glass of Nardone red is the perfect complement. I've been coming here for years, since I lived up the hill in Issaquah Highlands. Fernando has taken a good local favorite, and turned it onto the path of a great destination eatery, especially for occasions, and every day in between. Go, enjoy, return; see you there!
The food is absolutely amazing, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is authentic warm and cozy. What more could you ask for an Italian restaurant to offer. Go for a birthday, and you may be surprised by a couple of songs .
SIP is CLOSED! New restaurant in its place is Amarone Ristorante Bar. SIP was good pre-pandemic but never recovered. The service and food never returned to their former glory. The result is that it CLOSED.
