Monks On The Commons - Ithaca

I went to dinner at 5 and there was no noise until 6 when the car got crowded.

The waiter seemed to find it funny that I was a vegetarian, referring to me as Mr Vegetarian .. had a kind of brassy know it all attitude and seemed to find it funny that there very very few vegetarian options on the menu.

Good service, good menu, good food, interesting cocktails. Worth the trip.

The gourmet burger and ribeye steak were exceptional. The service was highly professional, and the ambiance was delightful. I will definitely be returning.

The service was lovely, but the drinks were hit or miss—some mediocre, others quite poor, depending on your choice. Unfortunately, the food was incredibly disappointing; it was just bad. The salads were especially unappetizing. You're merely a stone's throw away from countless places that offer delicious meals. Save your money and skip this underwhelming hotel restaurant, even if it does have a prime location on the Commons.
