Liberty Burger - Jackson

I tried the Chillerno Impossible Burger and added avocado and tomato, and it was fantastic! I couldn't get enough! I really loved the combination of flavors between the roasted poblano pepper and the chipotle BBQ sauce. I'm a big fan of Mexican fusion! I also had the onion rings, which were delicious. The service was quick and friendly. The burger was a bit messy since I ordered it to go, so I think dining in would have been a better experience. Just make sure to let them know if you don’t want extra cheese, or you might end up with queso blanco!

Ordered a liberty burger, asked to substitute for the vegan impossible burger and asked if the garlic aioli was vegan and then asked if there sauces on the burger were vegan. I must admit that I did not ask for a vegan version of the burger but assumed that based on my other requests (vegan patty, vegan sauce) they would mention that the bun is not vegan! Once we realised that the bun is not vegan (through googling whilst we waited) we asked and they said that they could do a vegan version on granary and when it arrived it was sliced bread! They seemed mystified that I didn’t want a burger on two slices of bread rather than a bun. The waitress was really rude about the whole thing and made us feel like we were a massive inconvenience with our questions. We cancelled our order and left just to add we read a post on liberty burgers twitter account that the wheat cracked bun was vegan and the staff confirmed that it’s not Updated from previous review on 2024-05-22

It was absolutely amazing! The Woodstock burger is a good choice cause it comes with a homemade veggie burger and then you can just ask for them to take the Swiss cheese and aioli off! Obviously it’s not a full vegan place but you can make almost any burger they have vegan.

I'd rather take my money up the road to Soluna and support plant-based restaurants than support a chain who charges a ridiculous vegan tax. $7 to switch to an Impossible burger is not a a good look. At least have a creative, homemade option for that kind of upcharge. Updated from previous review on 2023-01-01
