Papa Johns Pizza - Jacksonville

I ordered a pizza at 3:45 pm on August 19 and was informed that it would take 45 minutes to an hour for delivery. I called after an hour and 10 minutes and was told that it was on its way and should be here any second. I called again at an hour and 27 minutes and was put on hold. I finally received the pizza at 1 hour and 30 minutes and found that the center of the pizza was undercooked. I was very dissatisfied with the service and quality.

I will never eat here again. I ordered a pizza with extra pepperoni and did not receive what I asked for. The toppings were skimpy, I couldn't even taste the bacon or chicken, and there wasn't enough sauce. I also only got about 6 slices of jalapeños, and although I requested the pizza to be well done, it was not cooked properly. This was the worst pizza I've had in a while. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

I have had issues with this restaurant in the past, as they have not cooked the food properly and did not issue a refund when they did not show up and instead closed. Additionally, their delivery times have become very slow, ranging from an hour to an hour and thirty minutes, even though I only live six minutes away. It should not take this long to deliver food, especially considering it only takes 30 minutes to cook a pizza. It seems like they have not prepared well and need to improve their service. Last time, they delivered my food two hours late and the pizza was cold. It is not acceptable to take so long to deliver food to customers. They should take pride in their work and aim to do it the right way.

I was rather impressed with the speed of our order as it only took 10 minutes VS the 34 minutes expected. Staff were professional and helpful. Pizza was great. I'm giving 4 stars because only 1 of the two kiasks was able to pay out cash orders, while it took 10 minutes for this phone order to go through and their card was declined 3 times. That's not the staffs fault and they were apologetic. Fix that and everything else is perfect.Parking: Full free access parking lot.
