Famous Dave's -b-que - Janesville

New format for famous dave’s. that is no longer a restaurant with table service. they order her to eat in front and bring it to her table. the same great food as before. update: super customer service. lunch special was a great value update: another good experience to eat here. eating was delicious and quite fast.

I was almost a year in wisconsin and have made many critikens, but this ort famous dave’s the janesville location. was the most tasty mouthful I met so far. we enjoyed service, waitress and above all eating and cocktails. I will definitely return

The food was very good. Nice, unique variety to choose from in the Janesville area. The prices are somewhat high. We did curbside. The employees inside failed to see our check-in which caused about a twenty minute delay. Mistakes happen sometimes though. However, the food was still good and we will return in the future.

Great food. Pricing is reasonable. I ordered for takeout on my phone. It was ready, fresh hot when I arrived to pick up, which was at the time that was estimated. I ordered the Pick 3 combo with jalapeño cheddar sausage, Texas brisket, chopped pork and I added another meat...Southside rib tips. I had fries and corn on the cob for my two sides and a cornbread muffin. All of the meats were great and I had plenty to have some for lunch the next day as was my plan. The only disappointment was no catfish fingers on the menu, but things come and go, whether out of season or just to change things up, so I am not holding that against the restaurant. I was surprised there was no silverware in the bag and no butter for the corn. The sweetcorn still tasted good without it and I was at home so I had my own silverware. Just a couple things I expected and maybe will need to add a note next time. Plenty of sauces were included though.

Good food as always! Miss the sit down with a waiter/waitress coming to your table. Hard to decide as soon as you walk in of what to order. Feels more like a fast food place now. Huge peach cobbler dessert!
