Becker's Gourmet Restaurant - Jasper

I'm torn about this placeIt came highly recommended in Lonely Planet's guidebook for the Canadian Rockies and it's won numerous awards.

Great service but the food is just okayI would venture into the town of Jasper for more choices and better options.

We came across this restaurant in the Jasper Dinning Guide and were really drawn in by the pictures of the lobster tail and the amazing view.

Went in on opening night to enjoy one of Jasper's best views and restaurants We had the charcuterie board to start which was an amazing selection of cheeses and cured meats Followed by the elk pasta and seafood appetizer, which was a playful creation of some fried calamari, scallop and shrimp.For dessert we enjoyed a silky hazelnut cream brûlée Great food, service and atmosphere Recommend by locals and worth the short drive

Right on rte 93 on the way to Jasper from the Ice Field Parkway. This is an excellent location if you are staying at the cabins or visiting Jasper and want a different atmosphere. On the river, lovely location but the food was average
