Famoso Neapolitan Pizzeria Jasper National Park

This casual Italian restaurant specializes in wood-fired pizzas. I really enjoyed the pesto chicken wing appetizer—it was excellent! However, the salad and pizza were just average. The salad dressing lacked flavor, and the salad ingredients weren't particularly impressive. Additionally, the pizza didn’t have that distinct wood-fired taste; the dough was a bit chewy, and the sauce and toppings felt somewhat subdued. On a positive note, the food presentation and temperature were good, and both the service and atmosphere were enjoyable. Just be aware that only metered street parking is available. This review comes from a tourist visiting from the U.S.A.

I absolutely adore the Neapolitan-style pizza here. The red sauce is simply perfect. If you're a fan of Neapolitan pizza, this is the spot for you!

Vegetarian options: The menu does feature plant-based pepperoni, but only if you choose to build your own pizza. Unfortunately, even then, I was told they were out after I had already ordered!

Not exaggerating, one of the best pizza i’ve ever had! I had the Brussel sprouts, walnuts, honey pizza, it was SO GOOD!Very friendly staff.Only point I can say was that they didn’t have “non pork” red meat choice. I did replace my prosciutto with chicken. And the pizza was still good!

Who doesn't love wood-fired pizza?! Famosa does an excellent neapolitan pie, and I make a point to eat there every time I'm in Jasper. This time, I had the 7 Siciliana (meat lover) pizetta and caesar salad. Both were excellent and a wonderful meal. Wait and host staff were very friendly, and on top of everything. Recommended!
