Papa George's - Jasper

Visited for lunch today. We ordered 2 burgers and 2 glasses of white wine. When I got my glass of wine, I realized that the glass was very dirty inside and around the rim. I returned the glass to the bar and showed them that the glass was dirty. They apologized and I stayed at the bar and waited. Our server poured the wine from the dirty glass into another glass!!!! I said I need a fresh glass of wine from the bottle in a clean glass. Once again, I stayed at the bar. She poured a fresh glass of wine in another glass. Before I left the bar, I looked at the glass. Another dirty glass. I showed the server and told her this glass was dirty. I was no longer interested in the glass of wine. But the burger was ok.

Had a very good early dinner. Mussels were very special. But when the bill came, we were charged regular price. mentioned this to wait and quickly corrected. If I wanted extra bread with my mussels, there would be no fee. Asked for extra and... it was said there was an extra cost. No problem, the meal was great, does not have the additional costs. But don't say it if it won't happen. Good wine prices. All in all a good experience. Just check your tab.

This place is a joke! We ordered what was supposed to be a bison goulash, but it had no meat and was flavored with something that tasted like cardamom. The shepherd's pie was also mostly filler meat, and the chicken wing teriyaki was a dry, flavorless chicken dish that had no trace of teriyaki sauce. It was a disappointment. Avoid this place at all costs.

Sport Bar atmosphere loud and hectic! Fish and chips contained a very generous, flakey and tasty part of the Schellfische. Service was a little slow, but in her defense it was busy. Our server was very friendly and committed.

The eggs Benedict were fabulous, served with Canadian style hash browns, the eggs were cooked to perfection and the serving was huge washed down with plenty of free coffee re fills, this breakfast will set you up for the day, will definitely be back great...value for money
