Tekarra Restaurant - Jasper

We spent one night in the lodge and decided to try out the restaurant. Gosh were we impressed with the selections and quality of the food. The presentation and taste was as good as we have experienced on our trip across Alberta. The wine and beer selection was great and we truly enjoyed our server.

What a wonderful place to eat. The food was top rate and gourmet. Would recommend it to anyone in the Jasper area that is looking for 5 star dining. Very pricey but worth every penny. Sounds formal but the staff and everyone there was pretty casual. Really enjoyed eating so well then heading upstairs to bed!

Really enjoyed the 2 meals we had at the Tekarra - the putine (chips and gravy for fellow English northerners) was particularly good. We were so lucky that the weather allowed us to sit on the patio both nights as the inside area appeared quite dark and stuffy. We were staying at the Tekarra Lodge and felt really glad to have such a good restaurant on site. Thank you!!

This place is awful. The food made me sick. The sushi is a diagrace to the word sushi. The food used to actually be creative for a restaurant so old that it aught to be torn down. But now since the change of ownership this place is quickly going down hill. I would not reccommend wasting your money if youre expecting anything upscale. The locals are referring to the past tekarra... the new tekarra is just the same average food that Evil Daves produces... but just cooked with less skill. It tough in Jasper with such few upscale choices. . id suggest syrahs or raven...

We were a group of four, we ordered different appetizers different meals everybody loved their meals. Friendly staff, quiet location out of town Great location to eat after a long day of sightseeing...
