61 Main - Jasper

We were looking for a place to grab lunch while driving along the highway and I decided we should drive into downtown Jasper. Such a quaint town. And I'm so happy we picked 61 Main. It was a perfect day to sit outside. Service was excellent and the food came fast. My BLT with fried green tomatoes was wonderful and the special side for day, white bean salad, was superb. Compliments to whoever made that!! Walked inside to use the restroom and the place was packed... the restaurant must be top notch to be packed on a Tuesday at lunch time. Anyway, happened upon the dessert case; all made in-house. I got a piece of the mocha cake and ate when I got home. DELISH! If you're out driving in North GA, make plans to stop here for lunch.

Food was good, but I thought the portions could have been a little bit more. I will go back there.
