Showed up for my reservation and its was closed. Called earlier in the day to add additional people to the reservation and was told it wasn't a problem. Never informed they weren't going to open that night.
Fried wings were raw in the middle. There was just one server when we arrived and she was bar tending in addition to serving and hosting! She was literally having to run. It was a Friday evening and the drink/food menu was severely curtailed. The entire island seems to be a good food desert.
Manager is amazing, deserves double raise! Staff kind of lack luster and checked out. Terrific location and amazing music playing.
Let me begin by saying the location of the restaurant on the island is perfect! The restaurant is decorated nicely and the music reminds you of the main location.in Atlanta. There was six people in our party. It was very chaotic upon entry. . It as if the restaurant was closing although we made a reservation. I approached a server who was no responsive. I then approached another woman who said she was the newly hired manager. She asked us to wait in an area until they sorted out some kinks. We we’re finally sat at an outdoor table about ten minutes later. I wanted the macaroni and cheese and waffles. Both of which were sold out. I settled on a salad. It was good. As a night cap, I wanted to taste the Peach cobbler. I was told it had been lit up and cooks did not want to unpack. Ok! The rest of the parties food was mediocre nothing to truly brag about. The ere were a number of missteps that occurred which I Sweet Georgia’s work out if the goals is to be a main stay on the island.
