We ate here a year ago and I'm shocked that it's still open. there were no fly screens so many insects in the dining room. a fly landed on our gay bone and lay vulture, so after 5 minutes we had maden around the bone crawl. I told the cook we picked up the food, but asked if he could remove the turn-off sign as it had maggots. He told me that was ridiculous, and it doesn't happen the quick ones that lead me to believe that the maden were there when we ate. he was so rude and ignored us the rest of the night. it was a terrible experience and I can't eat pork anymore because of the trauma.
A star is too many for this place that serves pseudo Austrian food. chicken carving was dry, potato salad in mayonaise, never had served a thousand island dresses with carving. spatzle was tasted like suppe with tomato sauce, with a bit when melted cheese. ask for a spoon when they order it! I have lived in Austria, eaten spatzle in Germany and in Switzerland and had never served as if they were serving it at this place. a customer was said it was a Bavarian revolver! I have never heard such bs! google spatzle to see how it should be done. that is what the cook should do! don't waste your time or your money here. I'm going out to eat, not to criticize the personal. serve me good food, that's all I ask. I mentioned the personal how bad it was eating. I should have spoken to the responsible one!
Pointless booking system. I have the booking a whole week in advance after receiving a confirmation email and text. in the restaurant in time (and while there was not even a single customer), only to be turned around because apparently the booking did not exist. my mourning is not with technology, but the lack of excuse or opportunity to book new, just a grim man in a leather pants. read also with other reviews, it seems as if the online booking system is not reliable, so I think they are not too motivated to fix their broken system.
Well im only going to be honest, we arrived at 6 in the evening for a split birthday event 10 of us booked .some of us love the german style beers and couldnt wait to tuck into a froffy. We approached the bar and in a very rood and abrupt way was told by the owner who we have heard on numerous occations was a very unfriendly man, but anyway i get it COVID right, to go sit down they would serve us at our table it took 45 mins before they even came over to us to see if we wanted a beer not happy bad costomer service big fella look the food was good but our last meal got to the table at near closing time and they fed us one at a time try eat when you have 9 other family members staring at you with hungry eyes.Desert was out of the question ,the chef had already left and mister angry told us there were no deserts available ,the highlight of our night was the pork knuckle was awesome and the one beer i got all night dont think ill come back back though i hate to be there if it were busy .remember oliver twist in the food hall. Can i have some more please sir. Moooooore!!! Get the pork knuckle and leave.
