The scallops were fried and added to the chowder, which was fantastic. The dish was served with homemade biscuits that were also very good. We had lunch before going on a fossil-slip tour and found it to be inexpensive and well worth it.
The tea and cookies were delicious, especially the molasses cookies. The service was friendly and quick. Overall, it was a very enjoyable visit to a fascinating museum.
As visitors descend the stairs to the fossils, they will come across the charming Roundhouse Cafe. I highly recommend stopping by the cafe before or after your visit, as the delicious treats here are truly worth it. The talented chef bakes all the cookies and the moist gingerbread cookies are a standout. I opted for the soup of the day, paired with a fluffy biscuit that was simply delightful. For takeaway, I indulged in a sandwich that was carefully prepared and grilled to perfection, essentially a panini. There is no pressure for tipping, so feel free to show your appreciation if you're satisfied with the exceptional service. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here and found the staff to be incredibly welcoming.

The scallops were pan-fried as you watched and added to the chowder broth. The chowder was fantastic. The chowder came with home-made bisquit which was also very good.
