Delicious cakes in a delightful and distinctive atmosphere.

One notable downside, however, is the service, which tends to be quite slow. I've noticed customers waiting for their meals or being neglected for too long. Despite this, the staff has always been friendly. Overall, my experience at the Pudding Shop was positive, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty and relaxed breakfast or lunch. This is an update to my previous review from November 18, 2015.

The restaurant had a beautiful exterior, but the unfriendly security guard stationed at the parking lot left a lot to be desired. He glanced at his phone, made some unclear hand gestures, and showed little interest in assisting with parking. I circled the block searching for a safe spot to park, hoping for a better experience. Based on the other reviews, I’m sure the food is excellent, but unfortunately, I likely would have received better customer service at a McDonald's than what I experienced with their unhelpful and rude parking attendants.

First, I have to say that this place deserves five stars. I find it a bit ridiculous that they can only receive a maximum of four stars, especially considering how friendly the atmosphere is, particularly in a city with limited options. My husband and I went there for breakfast today, and we were truly impressed! I had the butternut waffle, and my husband tried the tofu scramble. We finished our meal with an incredible carrot pineapple cake. It’s not just vegan; it was the best cake I’ve had in South America—moist and perfectly balanced, without being overly sweet. Everything we ate was fantastic, and I can’t wait to go back. The only downside was the table of very loud hipster women next to us, but that's not the restaurant's fault.
