I had read in the post and Courier that the chicken sold here was worth the ride out of town. I have three normal wings and a role for 5.79. The best part of the order was the role. I thought it was a typical tank chicken. I won't be back... although the role was?.
I stopped by today to grab something nearby, and I was taken aback by the prices. For 12 wing sections (which is equivalent to 6 whole wings), 2 potato wedges, a roll, and a medium drink, it came to $17.75. That's just not reasonable for one person!
The staff at this restaurant is incredibly friendly, and I really wish I could give it five stars. However, the chicken just doesn't cut it. It was very dry and lacked flavor. Additionally, the price doesn't match the quality at all. Paying $8.30 for just two chicken strips and a hash brown seems excessive. As much as I enjoy this place, I can't overlook these issues. It's disappointing.
When I first saw the restaurant, I thought, "This looks like it might have some great fried chicken." So, I decided to give it a try, even though the prices seemed quite high. I'm okay with paying for good food, so I ordered a chicken breast. It was crispy, which I appreciate, and the taste was decent. However, I quickly realized that the chicken was of low quality, the kind you’d find at the cheapest prices—not the good stuff like Perdue. To be honest, it was quite disappointing, and I ended up throwing it away. I won’t be going back. It's frustrating to see a place prioritize profit over customer satisfaction. Sorry, but that’s how I feel.
