Wheeler's Bagels - Johnson City

Wheeler's is a wonderful place! My fiance have a monthly Monday ritual breakfast there and we absolutely love it. The service is beyond friendly, the coffee is fantastic (ask about their coffee cubes for iced coffee), the bagels are amazing and it's one of the few places in the south to offer authentic New York Black and White cookies. They also accommodate all sorts of diets. I am on a low carb diet and I hate to be picky when ordering but the owner showed me ways to make my sandwich healthier completely unprompted- egg whites, scooped out bagel, extra veggies etc- and the taste was just as good as a regular bagel sandwich. When my mom came up to visit from out of state we made it a point to take her to Wheeler's. I don't know why anyone would rate this place less than 5 stars because I've only ever received 5 star product and 5 star service.

This place is AMAZING!!! The bagels are perfect, and the fillings are delicious. It's not just the food though. The service there is beyond words. Everyone is nice and friendly and always make sure that your visit is the best that it can be. I really cannot recommend this place enough. Go there, eat, drink, and be merry.

We love this place! Highly recommend for a great bagel or muffin. The bagels taste just like they do back home in CT. It is our go to spot almost every weekend.

The owner is one heck of a guy. Told us how they came about, how they got to Johnson City his dream for his shop. Their bagels are fab's, coffee spendid the staff very helpful friendly. I recommend them highly. Can't wait to visit again when in Johnson City.

I was traveling through Johnson City with my mom and we really wanted a good bagel. We stopped in this place and were amazed! After eating our breakfast we bought a bakers dozen to take on the rest of the trip. And have even eaten them cold they are so great!
