Rayne's Backyard Bbq - Johnstown

This restaurant is the go-to spot for excellent barbecue and outstanding service in the Johnstown area, and it will soon be available in Indiana as well. The food is fantastic, with generous portions that are well worth the price, and it features some of the best barbecue I’ve ever tasted. I wholeheartedly recommend that everyone give their food a try!

I was quite disappointed with the food. The brisket tasted identical to a McRib from McDonald's, while the pulled pork was so salty that it made my lips pucker. The green beans and potatoes seemed like they came straight from a can. The baked beans were just like Bush's canned beans, lacking any additional flavor or ingredients. The fried chicken was passable, but not memorable at all. I usually avoid leaving negative reviews, but every dish we tried was unsatisfactory. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

The food was incredible! We tried a bit of everything, and the catfish was surprisingly fresh, without any fishy or muddy flavor. The ribs were cooked to perfection, and the sides were delicious. We genuinely have no complaints. It's a shame we waited so long to try this place; we’ve definitely been missing out! We will certainly be returning as regular customers. This household highly recommends it!

Easily the best fried catfish I've ever had. Ribs and pulled pork are also excellent. I'm glad this guy is a part of the community.

Best pulled pork in town and the portions are huge mac and cheese and Cole slaw was very good as well!
