From the norm as I was in jb, my friend would always bring me to his ordinary meals, as he was a creature of habits, but for me I would like to try other options, as I rarely go south now. Therefore I looked through my list on my last trip to see which I had not, and then I asked to go there. sze zai hiong is just a few doors away from my favorite irrigation hole, jj wine tapas in taman pelangi. this restaurant has a ground restaurant, but with air conditioning, something I appreciate especially during lunch under hot weather. tonpot mixed vegetables with pliers fun something not so hard for the quite heavy lunch. stir fried woman fingers with salted egg yolk crispy texture covered with heart-shaped salted egg yolk. ham yue fa lam bou aka tonpot pork belly with salted fish I prefer stronger taste for this dish and not disappointed. actually it was so good with my bowl rice. stir fried lala with pork lard the reason I came here. the view of fresh mushes and gays together was a fall of foodgasm. the cili padi lent the court some spicy kick. Good value and very tasty! recommend the marmite huhn and underscription tofu dish. a great place for casual group dinner/departure.
This is a small and nice restaurant in Pelangi near Giant. Their dishes are like home cooked. The chef owns the place and he cooks well. Love the fried chicken wings, lala, bean curd dishes, steamed fish, etc.
