The Brussel sprouts were really good, we ate them before anyone could take a picture
Not impressed at all. Long wait for a Thursday night with 12 open tables. Pizza just barely at the edible mark. Cream of chicken soup would be better served as an all purpose adhesive.
Service was very slow. Waitress never around and don’t know about some selections. Buffalo Chicken wrap came out cold, no breading on it and almost all lettuce. French fries were cold. Told the manager. He didn’t seem to care. I told him I wanted something different. I got the bang bang shrimp wrap. It was like a salad with all lettuce and only two pieces of shrimp on it. If I wanted a salad, I would have ordered one. The fries were cold also. I told our server. She must have told the manager and he came by. I said take a look at this wrap. It is all lettuce. He didn’t anything and was getting ready to take it away. I said I have to eat. I’ve waited this long for the food. He walked away. A terrible manager. He could care less. He did comp me for the food, but he didn’t say he would. I saw it on the check when I got it. Non-apologetic. The place has gone down hill since there is a new manager. Would not come back!
Charging 3% COVID surcharge. Have been a longtime customer since Bulldogs opened. Supported them through the COVID shutdowns and was happy they remained opened. Friday night I noticed they are charging a Surcharge on my bill. Apparently its been there the last few months and I never noticed before. When asked what this was for, I was told its for extra cleaning supplies for COVID and PPE. It was kind of ironic since we never once saw the bar get wiped down or cleaned, other than the removal of dishes as patrons left, but no wipe down. Additionally, employees not wearing any the PPE items that I am paying for in my surcharge, no PPE available to a customer if they forgot their mask and wanted one, no sanitizer in the bathroom or anywhere else that I noticed and I did not observe any other special equipment or products for COVID (e.g. package utensils, packaged condiments, disposable utensils or dishes). What a scam for a restaurant to still be doing this. For those of you who have never noticed this on your bill heads up, for those you who don't think this is appropriate, buyer beware, for those who don't care, you can ignore my post.
