Dunkin' - Joliet

The management at this restaurant is extremely rude and inconsiderate. It’s poorly managed overall. I worked here during a summer break from college, and I experienced the worst disrespect I've ever encountered in my life. One of the managers frequently yelled at the high school staff and treated everyone with an air of superiority. She constantly belittled employees and mocked those who were 19 and still living with their parents. For instance, she scolded me for not providing a carrier for two coffees that a customer ordered. This experience happened years ago, yet it still bothers me to this day.

If you enjoy poor service, incorrect orders, and being yelled at when you point out mistakes with your drink, then this is the place for you! The attitude of the staff here is truly appalling. If I behaved like that at my job, I would be out of a job. And if you ask to speak to a manager, you’ll just hear, "I don’t want to play manager; you play manager." They don’t listen either. To top it off, you might even witness the employees arguing and swearing at each other.

If you enjoy visiting this Dunkin' and prefer to pay in cash, be sure to check your change. The older gentleman taking orders, who speaks broken English, tends to shortchange me. I finally spoke up during my last visit, and he couldn't even meet my gaze. He just handed me the correct change and dismissed me. He even tried to give me extra money as a way to avoid confrontation at the window.

Both cups of coffee I ordered this morning had coffee grounds in it. Not a small amount either. Might explain why at 6am for a Dunkin right by a major north/south interstate wasn't busy at all.
