Despite the high prices for food and gas, this place is usually my go-to during off-peak hours, especially since it’s one of the few options in this remote area. They offer some of my rare favorites, like CBD energy drinks, CBD nitro, and the new Monster Peach. Their selection of snack candies is great too. The staff is always friendly and sometimes offers me deals since I’m a regular. Their rewards card is quite beneficial; I've earned a dollar or two after just a few purchases. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to visit during the day lately because I’ve discovered a new favorite spot with cheaper gas and even cheaper Monster drinks. I also noticed I haven't seen the CBD drinks in a while—I hope they’re not discontinued, as I really wanted one yesterday. I’ll update if I find them again!
I would not recommend trying to find parking here. The coffee costs $4.31 and a slice of pizza is $4.98. Additionally, truck drivers earn $3 per mile. Pilot is a much better alternative.
This is a charming little truck stop in Joliet. They offer good food and a variety of items in the store. However, it is a bit small and located in a busy area with heavy truck traffic, so it may be difficult to find a parking spot later in the day. There are many intermodal trucks navigating the area.
