Fries were fresh and crispy, curds squeaky, and a well-dressed regional glizzy, red champagne on the side. I skipped the burger this time around because I had a big food day ahead… The receipt was unclear and I’m still not sure whether we overpaid or not. The bill said 1 large poutine and 3 hot dogs for 46$, whereas we ordered 2 medium poutines, one steamé, and 2 diet red champagnes? Our order number didn’t match up with the order we got either, so I dunno… either way, worth the detour into Jonquière! Pro tip: instead of sitting at the tables right outside, take a minute to locate the picnic tables down the street that have parasols for shade, especially on a hot summer day.
I love a thing here. they cook before them and they can trust the hygiene of food
If they are looking for authentic poutine and hamburger, this is the right place in the opposite.
Very good poutine, be sure to ask for crumb cheese. Other cantine items
Here you have the chance to try the best poutine. I suggest you ask for a mixture of curd and rape cheese, Bbq as well! You have all the best to eat, but bad for your health food. For this... type of restaurant this is one of the best place, price are fair for what they do, only cash (there is a little money). Service is always wonderful, they always make you feel like family.
