Contribuisci feedbackThe servers at this restaurant were wonderful and efficient, even with a group of over 15 people. The kid-friendly options were excellent, with generous portions for children and delicious ice cream sandwiches for dessert. The children really enjoyed it.
This restaurant has the worst service I have ever experienced. We only saw our waitress three times - when we were seated, when we ordered, and when the check was delivered. We asked for the TV to be changed twice, but it was never done or even acknowledged. This is especially disappointing for a sports bar. This is the third time I have received subpar service at this place considering the high prices. Jeffersons Joplin should be closed down.
In the area vacationing and stopped in. We were seated, but no server would wait on us. Nearly 20 minutes go by. I asked a server if she knew who our waitress was and she said one minute. She never returned.We were looking for a different place to go on maps. About that time, the bar tender came over and apologized. Took our order. Was very apologetic.Food was out in record time. She again apologized and comped our whole meal.That was a very kind thing that doesn 't happen often.As far as the food, it was really good, especially after a long day of driving.
We have previously enjoyed Jeffersons, but the last several times have been pretty disappointed in the service. It is located on the north side of Joplin, next to the mall and Khols. It is decorated like a sports bar but also has an indoor and outdoor seating area apart from the bar. There are a few arcade games, but nothing super interesting. The food is usually pretty good, but the service has not been amazing lately.
There is a breakdown in service. When you’re seated, a game of “not it” ensues based on the very few, clearly undertrained and overworked servers. What is truly concerning, is that our server particularly did not meet professional standards, and the team there were in “let her burn” mode. Essentially, it was obvious to me that the rest of the wait staff had had enough of my server inability, to the point where they wouldn’t help her, essentially guaranteeing my poor experience. This isn’t a wait staff issue, this is poor management and the long term effects of not wanting to terminate bad employees that ruin team synergy. You as a customer are simply in the crossfire.
