Legends Sports - Joplin

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The staff was rude and biased towards my friends, and when we tried to address the situation, they lied about what had happened. When we requested to speak to a supervisor, they became defensive and accused my friend of behaving inappropriately, which escalated the matter unnecessarily in front of other patrons. In the end, we chose to leave without eating and went to a much better place where we were welcomed and treated with exceptional courtesy. We enjoyed a fantastic meal and entertainment that exceeded our expectations. Thanks to Kansas Crossing, our evening turned around, and despite the earlier drama, we ended up having a wonderful time and spent over $1,200.

After waiting a few months to visit due to COVID concerns, I was hoping for better service. They really need to hire more attentive staff; it might be a while before we decide to come back. This is why we prefer the Riverbend Casino in Wyandotte, where they offer a Bourbon Ribeye Steak for $12.99. There, we always make a reservation and request a specific waiter, who used to work here. We ordered the Works Pizza this time, but I was shocked at how skimpy the ingredients were compared to our previous visits, especially considering the price.

I ordered a bowl of chili, and it was really tasty. However, the serving was disappointing—it was less than half full and only gave me about five bites. I can only imagine how small the cup of chili must be! My son ordered fish, French fries, and a side of onion rings. He mentioned that the fish was good, but unfortunately, the fries and onion rings were served cold—not just lukewarm, but cold. Additionally, it took over 30 minutes for our food to arrive after we placed our order.

Legends Sports Bar is a good place to get bar food and entertainment most nights. I come here when I want my fried pickle fix. They have the best fried pickles and my husband loves the club sandwich. We have had very quick and stellar service at timesand more recently have walked out because we were never waited on after being seated. Our most recent visit we waited 2 hoursfor food because there was some sort of back up in the kitchen due to it being all you can eat wings night. We ordered aFrench dip sandwich and an order of BBQ Wings. They were good, but not 2 hour wait good... From the words of Effie Trinketin Hunger Games, May the odds be ever in your favor. ????

At 10 o'clock, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent. I especially loved the pretzel holder! The selection of alcoholic beverages is impressive. I've seen many complaints about the dining experience, but I personally have never had a bad one.
