Castanedas Mexican Food - JOSHUA TREE

I recently dined at this restaurant while returning from Joshua Tree National Park, and I was quite pleased. We ordered the Asada Plate and the Steak Ranchero Plate, and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of both dishes and the delicious sauces that accompanied them. The meat was incredibly juicy and freshly prepared, resulting in a truly satisfying meal. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a tasty and fulfilling dining experience. Service: Dine-in.

The food is decent and reasonably priced—certainly not overpriced. However, it's not quite as good as it was before COVID. For takeout dinner, the price per person ranges from $10 to $20. I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 4.

Great little spot. Really tasty tacos cabesa, and the San Filepe fries were an interesting take on the disco fries and garbage plate dishes popular in the northeast.
