We had beer and margaritas, coconut scrimp and chips and guacamole. The staff was friendly helpful and attentive. No complaints!
With my mother and some friends. The food was amazing as always. I love you getting Queensadillas de jaiba when you sit down, delicious! We ordered shrimps cocktail, fish, tacos and a flan. Best fresh seafood in Cancun, at a reasonable price and on the beach!
We ate there 3 times . The grouper a la plancha was a bit dry , otherwise perfect ; good thing we ordered the garlic sauce on the side as it was overwhelmingly strong. We also had the shrimps a la plancha and coconut breaded , the octopus and the sea snails all of which were well prepared, not tough or rubbery as it often is the case. They offered us free totopos and small fish empanadas as starters. The wine from Argentina was good . Service is attentive, friendly, not rushed. Prices are reasonable. No disappointment here .
On our first day in Cancun, we enjoyed a great meal, and great service, at Mandinga. Great location, sitting a few feet from the sea, although it became a little chilly in the early evening. Still, the bucket of 10 beers, the shrimp pizza, the nachos, the complimentary fish rolls, and especially the great service, made it a night to remember.
We ended up here two nights and really enjoyed our view and the fresh seafood. Puerto Juarez is the section of Cancun where you take the ferries over to Isla Mujeres. This is the spot to stop when you want to get dinner off the ferry. Mostly locals here, so it's a nice change from Hotel Zone. Very authentic. Attentive staff and easy to find. Opened a bit later than the others excellent restaurants nearby like Kiosko Verde.
