The Sir George - JUGIONG

This restaurant was incredible! We stopped by on our trip to Victoria from New South Wales, and it was bustling with activity. The staff were all delightful and attentive. We chose to sit outside under cover with gas heaters, and all of our meals came out at the same time. The dishes were not only beautiful but also very hearty. There were plenty of gluten-free options available as well, along with a variety of price points. I would love to return and spend more time enjoying the beautiful surroundings. A huge thank you to all the staff. This place is definitely on my list for a future visit!

It was a long drive for a meal, but it was definitely worth it. The pub is very clean and has a charming old-school atmosphere. The service was excellent, and the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there. The only drawback was the portion size; the food tasted fantastic, but while I’m not a small eater, I found it a bit lacking. However, it should satisfy most appetites. I highly recommend making the trip for Sunday lunch. AAA+!

The outdoor dining experience here is outstanding. The layout is well-planned, offering both dog-friendly and dog-free areas. There’s also a small playground and lawn for kids, which is easily visible yet placed far enough from the tables to keep noise to a minimum. The garden beautifully blends manicured hedges with a rustic appeal, and many tables are nestled under the shade of lush trees.

Met here with my kids who travelled from Canberra. It was a cold day but we were really cosy in the enclosure outside with the heater. Lunch was magnificent, actually liked the new owners menu better than the last. Service was great and had a little look in the gift shop. Highly recommend

Beautiful place and atmosphere for lunch or dinner. Beautiful gardens, under cover seating and inside seating. Food was delicious however, we had to wait a while for half of our food despite the place not being busy. The staff were apologetic. Will definitely go again in the summer
