The prices are reasonable, although they don’t quite justify the place's single status. What makes this restaurant stand out from other mediocre Mexican options in Kona is the freshness of the food. The Carne Asada is consistently flavorful and tender. Be sure to try the nachos and tamales on Wednesdays. Delicious!

The owners and staff are wonderful. The menu offers a variety that everyone will enjoy. It's an upscale place with fantastic food and a warm, friendly atmosphere.
The tacos al pastor was the best I had anywhere. The price is for Tacos al pastor for the islands and cheaper than other seating restaurants we were. The children stole my plate and asked for their own.
