You eat at nearby picnic tables that are unfortunately a bit dirty. I found the yellow curry to be quite basic, featuring chunks of undercooked potatoes and large pieces of raw white onion. The tofu was medium-firm but lacking in flavor. The standout aspect was the curry itself, which had a great taste and a slight spiciness. Perhaps I just didn't choose the right dish. The jasmine rice, labeled as such, was really just plain white rice. Overall, at $15, the meal felt overpriced and wasn't particularly memorable. On the plus side, there's street parking available.
I stumbled upon this charming little Thai food truck, and it was absolutely delicious! I ordered the veggie pad Thai and fried spring rolls. Both my wife and I are huge fans of Thai cuisine, and I must say, this was some of the best we've ever had! The vegetables were incredibly fresh, and the spices were spot on!
I wanted to rate this restaurant more highly, but I may have just picked the wrong dish. Honestly, the Green Curry Beef had an unusual taste. The chicken option might have been a better choice; however, coming from the mainland, I'm accustomed to grain-fed beef, which tends to be better than grass-fed. I recommend you give it a try yourself, as there may be other entrees that are more enjoyable.
