Everything was fantastic! We started with the crab cakes appetizer, which had a sweeter flavor than we're used to, but that’s to be expected at a Thai restaurant rather than a traditional East Coast seafood spot. They were still delicious and didn’t have any of that bread filler. I really enjoyed my Drunken Duck, served with rice and fresh vegetables. My husband had the grilled mahi-mahi and really liked it as well; it came with potatoes and fresh veggies. I even decided to try my very first mai tai (taking a little risk, haha) since their cocktails are reasonably priced. Overall, it was a wonderful meal—definitely a must-visit if you're in Kapa'a!

During my visits, I ordered medium spice dishes on different days, including the Red Curried Vegetables, which truly highlight Lemongrass's award-winning curry—definitely my favorite! The Yellow Curried Vegetables were also delicious, enhanced by minced garlic. For dessert, I enjoyed their House Made Hula Pie during the New Year's Eve celebration. The curries are a perfect blend of herbs and spices, and I particularly loved the carefully chosen vegetables that the chef included. The aroma of the curries combined with jasmine rice was absolutely incredible! I kept returning to Lemongrass after trying several fine restaurants and food trucks in Kapaa, as Asian fusion curries are my favorite. The other dishes on the menu showcase the chef's creative genius as well! I highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you, Kathy.
