Mamahune's - Kapaa

This restaurant is a hidden gem—unassuming yet offering a fantastic outdoor atmosphere, an impressive cocktail menu, and surprisingly delicious food. I typically approach hotel restaurants with skepticism, but this one exceeded my expectations. I couldn't resist getting the Poke Nachos more than once, and her salad was equally delightful. The outdoor seating is relaxing, with stunning views of the sea. The staff is friendly and attentive, making for a wonderful dining experience.

We absolutely loved Mamahunes! However, it would be great if they opened before 3:00 PM, as it's the only spot to grab a cocktail in the afternoon while staying at the hotel. The drinks, live music, and poke dishes were fantastic. What a charming little Tiki bar!

Pretty great little tiki bar. Smaller selection of food is all very tasty with good sized portions and relatively reasonable prices. Drinks are great and reasonable. Staff is fantastic and views are beautiful.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for our anniversary from 6/2-6/6. Although this is restaurant is attached to the Hilton we were really happy they were there! It’s the closest place to grab something without having to drive to Kapa’a and they are open until 9:00pm for food. Well, they may not have the best hamburger we have ever had….but it was close! The Big Kahuna burger at Mamahune’s was absolutely amazing! We had it twice it was so good. The bacon and the pineapple/onion jam puts it over the top. We also had the Ahi Nachos which also fantastic. Lots of fresh Ahi poke’ and side fixings with the Nachos were delicious. I see why people come there even if they are not hotel guests. Not a full service restaurant, you order at the bar and they bring the food to your numbered table tent, but once you get your order in, the service is fast. They have a very limited menu, but everything we saw coming out looked excellent. Highly recommend. And…we miss Kaua’i.

Awesome tiki bar! Very chill and friendly. Tom and Anthony are both great bartenders, make great drinks and are very friendly. Has a great vibe and view. Sometimes has live music which makes it even nicer. Even if you aren't staying and the Hilton, I would highly recommend it. Free parking too!
